Hey Scott, I hear your dragging down the team because of some pancreas excuse or something like that. Guess I should have been there to keep an eye on you.
Are you guys going to need a trailer in Detroit to haul suitcases back or will there be room in the vans? Let me know so we can plan ahead.
    Have a great week! Rich

  12. February 18, 2010 7:44 pm

    Hey Rich,
yes, we will need the trailer as Sue and Nate will also be riding back with us to West MI, so I’m thinking it’s most likely that we’ll need it. Thanks Rich. Scott

    hello all,
What can I say, today was an amazing day as we finished the houses In addition, 3 of 4 families accepted Christ as their personal lord and savior. The one that did not, was already a christian family, but they had a mother there that was not and she accepted Christ into her life. In addition in one of the other homes, a grandmother had her daughter there and she accepted Christ as well.

    Mary,
I’m glad things are “boring” as home, I like it that way. I hope all is going well with you. I cannot what to share with you in person. I miss you and the boys. I hope your evening went well with the ladies. Tell Nikolas and ZZ I miss them. I don’t know about the boots for Nikolas, as the place they used to do them at is not here now. Any Suggestions? Tell Mom and Dad, it’s been worth it .
    Love you all.
    Scott

What a fantastic day!! I read everyone’s blog so get as much information as I can. The medical clinics should be interesting for you with your background. Have you been able to give Esuardo any tips yet? We are keeping an eye on Mary and the boys for you. All is well.
Love you so much and am continuing to pray.
    Mom
    P.S. Wish I were there!

Hi Scott — So glad that you went on the trip. Sure hope that your tummy agrees with you now and when you return. I am looking forward to going to ‘our place’ (Los Aztecas) when you get clearance.

How amazing God is – what great news that the four families were touched for all of eternity and you and the team were used as God’s instruments.

Have a great day in the mountains and a blessed Lord’s day on Sunday! – Jim

    Hello all,
Another day, another village. This one was an hour and a half in a different direction. We did a medical clinic, followed by a praise service and then gave out rice and beans. This village had about 60 families. It was apparently a village that had religion, but wasn’t very religious. Do you know anyone like that, more worried about the ritual of the religion rather than just praising God?
We say many people come to have a personal relationship with Christ today. Tomorrow we head down closer to the coast for another clinic and service. This village has 130 families.
    Mary and the boys,
I love and miss you all talk to you soon.

    Mary,
Love you so much. We’ll be leaving here for about a 2.5 hour drive to the coast. We’ll leave about 10:30 am and return about midnight. Another clinic day. Tell all I said “hello”. I’m doing OK. Love you. See you Tuesday.

    Hi Scott,
Finally, an “I’m doing ok”. Kept waiting to hear how you were doing physically. I read that Nate was driving the van, so I relaxed, but now I see you are driving as well. At least you are used to an Explorer. Will pray for you tonight as you do the clinic and present the Gospel.
    Love you,
    Mom

    Hello all,
It’s 12:15 am local time. Just got back from our last clinic. Saw over 300 people. Had a great meeting in spite of the hour on and hour off the mountain. That was an interesting ride/drive.
    Mary,
Love you lots. Lots to talk about. See you in just a couple of days. Good Night.

Thanks so much for posting when you got home last night. I woke up at midnight our time and then again at 1:15a.m. and felt compelled to pray for all of you. Evidently part of that time is when you were navigating the mountain roads in the dark. Hope you had a great day shopping and relaxing ( and having a chicken dinner). Will pray for all of you on the return trip home. Stay safe and I can’t wait to see you.
    Love,
    Mom

    Hello All,
Thank you so much for the prayers over the last week. Still have one more night here then leave at 4:15am to get to the airport in time. I miss all of you back at home, but this has also likely been the most exhilarating time of my life. I expected to be tired, but instead have been filled with the excitement of the Lord and the things he has been able to do. There is something to be said for not having phones or TV (lol).
One last request is to pray for the teams safe return to our homes.
    Mary,
I love you so much and cannot wait to share with you the time we’ve had here. I only hope my words can describe it. Tell the boys I love and miss them to.
    Thanks again to all,
    Scott
