It’s been a busy few days working on the house and playing with the kids. I haven’t been able to help as much as I would like, but I’ve been keeping busy. The kids have been fascinated by the hand brace, they just stare and stare at it.
Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers!

Glad someone can enjoy it, and hopefully you can be involved more in the next few days. Thinking and praying for you, especially the hand :P

    Hi Laura,

I’m glad that things are going well and that you’re getting to have some time with the children. That is important work, too!

We’ll keep praying for all of you! Deb

Hi Laura – So glad that you are a part of this team. We can’t wait to see you when you return and hear of the highlights. What a powerful moment it was yesterday as the people not only received homes but faith in the Lord! That was so encouraging for us to hear. Have a great day in the mountains and a blessed day of worship on Sunday! – Jim

    Laura,

How is your hand? Hope it is healing ok.
Sounds like you are having a fun time. Even if you can’t work you can entertain the kids. We are enjoying all the pictures.

I was wondering if you could pick up something relating to a Guatemalan sports team on your way home. Something like a pennant, shirt, etc. Any sport.

Enjoy the rest of your stay and have a safe trip home. All of you are in our prayers.

    Hi Mama Scheffler!

Laura is making me respond to you since she is playing 7′s at the moment. She says her hand is healing great and she is having fun.

We were just wondering if there was a certain size shirt you need if it is a t-shirt we find. Just for a little more knowledge about why. ;)

    Laura: “I love you, Mom.”
    ;) Take care all,
    Lisa

    Hi Laura & Lisa,

The sports item is for a 12 year old boy. Maybe size adult medium?

Hope you had a wonderful time and have a safe journey home.

    Love,
    Mom & Dad
